This is one of my favorite pizza spots, Brooklyn’s Pizza which is a chain (Ridgewood and Hackensack locations), is a casual Italian restaurant known for serving up brick-oven pies. This review is specifically for the Ridgewood location. Parking can be hectic, but Ridgewood in general is popular area, especially during dinner time. There is usually no line, but it can get busy during lunch and dinner times.
The pizza is sold only by the pie. Their cheese and tomato pie is good on its own, but I usually get pepperoni with it. The hot sausage topping is not bad either. One bite and you can taste so much flavor, a very distinct taste. This might be controversial, but I usually eat the pizza with a fork and knife.

The fried calamari served with warm marinara sauce is really good and compared to other Brooklyn Pizza locations, it’s the best one out of all of them. I always squeeze lemon juice on them too.

Check out how they started their family tradition.
