When I visited Jupiter, Florida, I had a few places listed to try out. Dune Dog Cafe was a place my friend suggested, as she had been there before. I checked out the reviews and pictures, so I already had an idea what I wanted: their ‘Dogs’ (Hot dogs). They do serve seafood, but this review is strictly on the dogs.
It was raining on my way there, and it was still raining once I parked. Once you enter the place, someone will either seat you at a table or at the bar (food) counter when available.
The place has a beach/tiki bar vibe to it. Since I went in the afternoon, there was a lot of natural light coming in; even though it was raining, it didn’t feel dreary.

Once seated, I started off with the Yankee Nachos ($10.99), which consist of a basket of waffle fries smothered in chili, cheese, tomatoes, onions, scallions, and jalapeño peppers. The combo of all the ingredients was really good.

I ended up getting the foot-long Leroy Brown’s Junkyard Dog, which consists of chili, cheese, Dot’s sauce, and diced onions. It was really good, and the dog had a nice snap to it. They were not stingy with the chili and cheese, that’s for sure.

I washed it all down with a Coca-Cola, which came in a styrofoam tall cup. It was hot in Florida, so I think that’s why I enjoyed the drink and meal together.

My experience there was awesome, and I really enjoyed my meal. I highly recommend Dune Dog Cafe if you are in the mood for unique hot dogs.
