Buffalo’s Wood-Ridge, NJ 07075

I first found out about Buffalo’s back in 2020 when I was at my ex’s place, who happened to live in Wood-Ridge, NJ. I did a quick Google search for dinner and came across Buffalo’s. For some reason, I vaguely remember it being called Buffalo’s Chicken Shack—I could be wrong and might have imagined that. What stood out to me were the high reviews. I love wings, so I had to try it.

I ended up ordering wings to go, half Parmesan Garlic and half Original Mild. I loved them. The wings were huge, crispy on the outside even though they were covered in sauce, and juicy on the inside. The price was also very fair. Ever since then, I’ve been a fan.

On my most recent visit, I went on a Wednesday, which happens to be Wing Wednesday—99 cents per wing. I ordered 12 wings with three flavors: Spicy Honey BBQ, Original Mild, and Spicy Garlic Parmesan. Each flavor was delicious in its own unique way. I do want to mention that the wings weren’t very spicy by my standards, and my spice tolerance is low.

I also ordered the Dave’s Special, which is pulled pork over French fries topped with cheese and jalapeños. This dish was huge—I don’t remember it being this big before. Back in 2020, the Dave’s Special was under $10, and although the price has gone up, it’s still well worth it. The amount of pulled pork they give you is more than enough, and this dish is definitely meant to be shared or enjoyed as a full meal on its own. The pulled pork is delicious, and the combination of melted cheese and fries makes every bite so satisfying. Check out the cheese pull in the video below.

I’ll definitely be back to try more flavors and rank my favorites. I highly recommend giving Buffalo’s a try if you’re in the mood for wings.
