My family randomly stumbled upon Empanadas KRYSS FOODS after doing some shopping on the famous street in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Calle Florida. We were hungry, and since we love empanadas, we knew the moment we saw them on display that this was going to be our quick bite stop.
Empanadas KRYSS FOODS is a no-frills, straight-to-the-point establishment with takeout or outdoor seating. The empanadas are fried and displayed under a heat lamp. They have a variety of options on display. They also have other menu items, including helado (ice cream), but we were only interested in the empanadas.
I ended up getting the mixta and the queso. The mixta, which is beef-based, was delicious. The queso, which happened to be fresh, was my favorite. The cheese was gooey and delicious.
The best part of this meal was that it was very reasonably priced, especially for being on such a popular, bustling street. If you are shopping on Calle Florida, make sure you stop by Empanadas KRYSS FOODS.
